Southampton Hockey

Upon completion, Hampton Ice will house the only indoor public Olympic-sized ice rink on Long Island, NY. The 68,000 sq. ft. building includes a full-sized rink and a half-size studio rink and will provide year-round employment and recreation for the local community. The facility design brings together pre-engineered building components and traditional construction to create a building that is contextual to its wooded site, comfortable and inviting to use. The design is efficient and cost effective to build and operate. Sustainable design initiatives include the potential use of geothermal heating and cooling.
