Portsmouth International Airport at Pease
Arrivals Expansion

Portsmouth International Airport has been awarded $7 million in federal grant funding from the Federal Aviation Administration to support phase two of the terminal expansion. This phase introduces a new 5,200 square-foot terminal arrivals hall designed to enhance passenger experience and accommodate future growth.

The expansion addresses current congestion, increases accessibility, and positions the airport for future growth. Key features include a stunning glass enclosure that floods the arrivals hall with natural daylight, creating an inviting and energy-efficient environment. The project also involves replacing outdated electrical systems and installing LED lighting throughout the terminal, further boosting energy efficiency.

Additional improvements comprise a redesigned baggage claim area, the relocation of rental car counters, parking kiosks, and information and customer service booths. These updates will streamline operations and improve overall passenger convenience.
