Beverly Regional Airport celebrates airport building opening
Members of the Fennick McCredie design team celebrated the completion of Beverly Regional Airport building on Friday, August 12th.
The 4,500 square foot facility was open to the public for food and festivities allowing visitors to explore and enjoy the project. Guests took full advantage of the comfortable seating and conversation areas, large windows with views of the air field, and outdoor tables and chairs to lounge and watch planes take off and land.
This airport building is the second of the series to open to the public as part of a statewide master planning effort to invigorate the general aviation community, following Mansfield Municipal Airport last June. The new administration building at Fitchburg Municipal Airport is scheduled to open this Fall… so stay tuned!
Other special building features include:
- A warm interior featuring exposed laminated timber beams and wood
- Relaxing space for visiting pilots
- Maps and photographs of the airport’s history
