JetBlue Terminal C at Logan International Airport
Terminal Renovation
The fast-track renovation of Logan Airport’s Terminal C was a complex endeavor designed to reflect JetBlue’s commitment to brand identity, corporate culture, and superior customer service. To accommodate a demanding schedule that required the terminal to be operational within 90 days, FM integrated an approach where programming, design, and construction activities occurred simultaneously. This required daily, active participation from a diverse group of stakeholders including airport management, airline representatives, code officials, contractors, and designers. The collective effort and seamless communication among all parties were pivotal in addressing challenges promptly and ensuring that each phase of the renovation progressed without delays. This collaborative spirit was essential in keeping the project on track and adhering to the stringent timeline set for completion.
The renovation project encompassed a comprehensive overhaul of various key areas within the terminal including the ticketing lobby, security checkpoints, concourse, waiting areas, baggage claim, and airline operations centers. Each space was redesigned to enhance functionality, improve passenger flow, and elevate the overall user experience. Special attention was paid to incorporating elements that resonated with JetBlue’s brand aesthetics and values, creating a cohesive look and feel throughout the terminal.
