Honor Award Recipient – YWCA of Central Massachusetts

 

We’re honored to share that we’ve been awarded the AIA Central Massachusetts Design Honor Award for our work on the YWCA of Central Massachusetts.

This project was more than just a renovation. It was about supporting the YW’s vision to be an all-inclusive women’s advocacy and resource center serving the diverse needs of women. The YWCA branch in Worcester has been a beacon of hope, offering invaluable services ranging from a childcare center and transitional housing to pivotal community and women’s initiatives. Not to mention the health and wellness amenities such as the gymnasium and pool that cater to the well-being of its members.

Revitalizing the historic 74,000 square-foot, five-story building, a cornerstone for the Worcester-area community for over six decades, was a task we approached with dedication and passion. We are very proud to have led the renovation efforts, ensuring that this institution continues to serve and uplift many more generations.
