New Associate Principal

Sharon Reynolds, AIA

Since joining the firm in 2014, Sharon has spearheaded the firm’s wellness program and has helped lead several studio initiatives including the 2019 IIDA Fashion show. Sharon has been a Project Manager and advisor for a range of projects, including most recently the Logan Airport Terminal C to B Connector, as well as the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport Terminal project that was featured in Architectural Record’s July 2019 Airports of the Future spread.

New Senior Associates

Katherine Brekka, AIA, LEED AP

Katherine has been with the firm since 2013 and brings a profound passion for sustainability and wellness to her projects. Katherine spearheaded and currently leads FM’s sustainability initiative as well as our AIA 2030 Commitment. Katherine is a versatile designer and project leader for multiple projects including recent renovations for the Excel Dryer Headquarters in East Longmeadow, MA; multiple projects at UMass Amherst; and has just completed an office renovation for Harvard University.

 

Melissa Vaillancourt, AIA

Melissa has been dynamic in shaping FM’s work and studio culture. Melissa is the current head of the firm’s Activities Committee and has been the leader of several of the firm’s community and mission-driven projects and transportation projects since joining FM in 2013. Project manager for the Paris Street Community Center, and head of design for the YWCA of Central Massachusetts renovation in Worcester, Melissa was also project manager for Pease Airport and Bangor airport projects. 

New Associates

Gary Coccoluto, AIA

Gary joined FM with 3 decades of previous experience leading a wide range of projects from recreational and pool facilities, to transportation architecture. Gary has particular expertise in inclusive accessibility, providing creative design solutions that support programs for all ages and abilities. Since joining FM in 2018, Gary has been an integral leader as a project architect for the Logan Airport Terminal C to B Connection.

 

David Potter, AIA

David started as a Northeastern Co-op and went on to join us full time in 2015. David served as a team leader for the construction phase of the South Boston Waterfront Transportation Center, which received a CMAA New England Project Achievement Award for outstanding team collaboration.

 

Tim Nolan, AIA

Tim has been with the firm since 2017, during which time he has worked on a variety of projects that include the Northeastern Snell Classroom and Collaborative Learning Space renovations, and the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport Terminal project. Tim is a leader of FM’s Toolbox Committee and applies his passion for technology and sustainability to all of his projects.
