In line with the humanist concepts underpinning our work, and in response to alarming reports from sources such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IIPC) that highlights the urgent need to take action in order to limit the expected global average temperature rise to 1.5 degrees C (a target laid out in the Paris Climate Agreement), we are taking bold action. The sooner we start to see emissions peak before 2030, the better our chances will be to limit global warming and its devastating effects.

Sustainable design and supporting communities at large have always been important tenets of FM’s mission, and we have stepped up our engagement by signing onto the AIA 2030 Commitment.

Through this data-driven analysis process we will be able to design more mindfully for our clients and stakeholders; we fully embrace our part in affecting positive change within the building industry.
